Monday's class:
Chapter 1-2 Test
*Homework due Tuesday:
1. Study flash cards for Chapter 1 and 2 VERBS ONLY.
2. Learn the pattern for the four principal parts for each verb (-o, -are, -avi, -atum), for example, paro, parare, paravi, paratum.
3. Fill out the sheet handed out in class.

Tuesday's class (with Mr. Swing substituting for Ms. Johns):
Introduction to Chapter 3 (masculine & feminine endings)
Principal Parts
Longmarks
*Homework due Thursday (Pd. 1) & Friday (Pd. 2):
Study for quiz on principal parts of verbs from Chapters 1-2 (and 3 for extra credit).
Quiz each other on principal parts on the bus!

Wednesday:
no class - 7th grade field trip

Thursday/Friday's class:
Principal Parts quiz for Chapters 1-2 (Ch. 3 is extra credit)
Masculine & Feminine noun declensions
*Homework due Tuesday (Monday is Fall Break):
1. Decline (make noun charts for) terra, cibus, and puer.
2. Do Ex. 3.1 on Oxford p. 11o.
-First, write out the Latin.
-Next, label noun cases.
-Then, translate into English.
3. Start memorizing Chapter 3 verbs, including principal parts.
